
Use an 8mm Allen wrench to remove the eight control assembly bolts and remove the control assembly.

Use a 16mm open-end wrench to remove the 16 upper cover assembly bolts.

Use a jackscrew to separate the upper cover housing and remove the upper cover assembly.

Use a 24mm socket wrench to remove the motor housing nuts.

Shift the transmission assembly into second gear.

Use a 16mm open-end wrench to remove the six single-axle cover bolts and remove the single-axle cover.

Use a 24mm open-end wrench to remove the two intermediate shaft front baffle bolts.

Use wire cutters to cut the flange locking wire.

Use an 18mm open-end wrench to remove the two flange bolts and remove the flange.

Remove the power take-off assembly.

Use a 16mm open-end wrench to remove the output rear bearing cap and intermediate shaft.
Place the spindle flat on a workbench with the small end facing up.
