FAW New Energy Instrument Fault Code Query Method

This knowledge base introduces or describes the Instructions for checking fault codes on older (pre-2019) and newer (post-2020) vehicle instrument clusters, including fault query navigation steps.

1、Older instrument clusters manufactured before 2019: 

 

 

 

1.1  When the instrument homepage displays a fault status, press the right button on the instrument, then rotate it to the right until the "Fault Query" screen appears to view the fault code.

 

1.2  Based on the fault displayed on the instrument, go to the corresponding vehicle model (the fault code definitions vary depending on the vehicle model).

 

2、Newer instrument clusters manufactured after 2020:

 

 

 

 

2.1  When the instrument homepage displays a fault status, press the right button on the instrument, then rotate it to the right until the "Fault Query" screen appears to view the fault code.

 

2.2  Based on the fault displayed on the instrument, go to the corresponding vehicle model (the fault code definitions vary depending on the vehicle model).
